GYFTY83 is designed with physical and chemical anti-rodent methods. Single-mode/multimode fibres are housed in loose tubes that are made of high-modulus plastic. The tubes are stranded around a central strength member to form a cable core. The core is filled with cable fling compound. Then an inner PE sheath is extruded and armored with flat FRP. Finally, an anti-rodent PE middle sheath and a PE outer sheath is extruded.
