Optical fibres are housed in a loose tube that is made of thermoplastic PBT material with superior performance and filled with tube filing compound. Aramid yarns are placed outside the loose tube as the strength member, then a sheath with Nylon.
Duct
1. Smooth sheath reduces friction ensuring good air blowing performance
2. Simple structure, easy to strip.
3. Small cable diameter, high flexibility and low cost.
4. Aramid yarn increases tensile strength and is easy to handle.
5. The uniform thickness of the sheath makes it difficult to break when installed at right angles of complex street ducts.
